Plantable Business Cards

Merely a textured ‘blank’ card to the naked eye — a subdued embellishment of a logo is all that bears the surface. Completely opposing to the ideals of ‘business cards’, that often provide a momentary form of communication that are regularly discarded once its purpose is fulfilled. We believe our cards communicate enough of our message without the disregard for harmful waste.
When our business cards are no longer of use, we encourage the bearer to place them into the soil and back to the earth for regrowth.
Bringing a 'full-circle’ sentiment as a responsible resource, these are a conscious pairing alongside our Petiole Forage Vessels — the embedded wildflower seeds allow you to return in blossoming seasons for you to pick your own planted paper and adorn your personal ceramic wares.
Based loosely on the Japanese practice of Kintsugi (金継ぎ) - the premise is to combine multiple used, unwanted & broken resources to form a core elevated outcome from its original iteration.
Comprised of discarded drawings, unwanted notes & excess packaging; these are all infused with fallen petals, leaves & wildflower seeds to be made beautiful & plantable.
